General requirements
The basic requirement for laying Drytile is a firm, clean, dry and even subfloor.
Unevenness of more than 3 mm over 1 m must be levelled out with a suitable levelling compound.
When laying on old wooden floorboards and installation boards, loose boards must be screwed to the substructure.
For reasons of strength and hygiene, carpets are unsuitable as a subfloor and must be removed.
Installation on existing PVC, CV and linoleum floor coverings is only possible if these floors are firmly bonded and have no loose areas.
The readiness of the subfloor for installation must be checked in accordance with the screed manufacturer's instructions and adhered to accordingly.
