Emission-tested
construction product according to
DIBt principles
Fire performance: flame retardant class Bfl – s1 to DIN EN 13501-1 on
solid, mineral substrates (gross density >/= 1350 kg/m3) and on
substrates made of wood and wood-based materials
(thickness >/= 10 mm, gross density >/= 475 kg/m3)
Acoustic and structural decoupling from the
subsurface (13-18 db footfall sound reduction
according to ITA Wiesbaden test)
Disposal (tile including cork coating
and system joint sealant)
Tests by the ITA Wiesbaden showed a reduction in footfall sound of 13 to 18 dB, depending on the system variant used.

Drytile meets the requirements for the Light Commercial rating of the Robinson test, the authorisation requirement for the American market.
Detailed information on the testing procedure and results are available upon request.
The research and material testing institute at the University of Stuttgart carried out several comprehensive tests of Drytile’s fire protection properties.
The result: flame retardant, no smoke, or Bfl-s1.
The test certificate is available upon request.
The Technical University of Nuremberg tested the dynamic behaviour of Drytile in comparison with a conventional tiled floor and concluded that a Drytile floor heats up only slightly more slowly. You can obtain the test certificate from us on request.
When laying large format tiles – whether traditional or Drytile variant – the subsurface must have a high degree of flatness. The design is based on DIN 18202 “Tolerances in building construction”. For mechanically higher loads we recommend a gauge of 2 mm over a length of 2 m.
By using appropriate levelling/smoothing compounds, a suitably level subsurface can be prepared for the subsequent laying of the large-format tiles.
We will be happy to advise you in detail on the right way to prepare your subsurface.
