You can object to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements at any time. The objection can be made in particular against processing for the purposes of direct advertising.

These purposes are also our legitimate interest.
As a rule, we cannot assign this data to specific persons. A consolidation of this data with other data sources is not carried out. The data is also deleted within 90 days after a statistical evaluation. IV. Forwarding of data to website services
In some cases we make use of external service providers within the scope of your consent with regard to analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the online offer. This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the users, as without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browsers. The IP address is therefore required to display such content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. Pixel tags can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user’s device and may contain technical information similar to logfiles. In the following we list our service providers.
If your data is to be used for other purposes, we will inform you beforehand and will only use the data if you have given your express prior consent.
Within the scope of our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer we use services for which Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) is responsible.
EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with Google so that we have taken all possible measures to ensure that European data protection law is respected.
a) Google Analytics
We would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” and that IP addresses are therefore abbreviated in member states within the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area by Google before transmission in order to exclude any direct personal reference. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your rights and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to Google’s data protection information
as well as especially regarding Google Analytics under: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/?hl=en and under https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en
as well as regarding Universal Analytics.
The data collection and storage by Google for the respective end device can be contradicted at any time with effect for the future in connection with the use under this link.
You can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future collection of your information when you visit this website with this device:
Note: If you delete your cookies it means that the deactivation cookie will also be deleted and you will have to set it again.
b) Google Maps
This website has content from Google Maps. By visiting the website, the third-party provider receives the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data automatically sent via your browser, such as your IP address, is transmitted to Google Maps in the USA and stored there. The provider may store this data as user profiles and use them for advertising and market research purposes. If you are also logged in to Google, this data is directly associated with your account. If you do not want the assignment to your profile, you must log out before activating the button. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Google.
We use the provider YouTube, a service of Google, to integrate videos.
The YouTube cookies provide us with statistical values for the retrieval of individual videos embedded in the website without reference to the respective user.
d) Google Fonts
We integrate the fonts (“Google Fonts”) of the provider Google. The integration of these web fonts is done by a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. This transfers to the server which of our websites you have visited. The IP address of the end device’s browser of the visitor to this website is also saved by Google. A data protection declaration for further information can be found here.
e) Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager. This enables us to manage website tags via an interface and thus integrate e.g. Google marketing services into our online offer. The Tag Manager itself does not process any personal user data. For the respective Google services, please refer to the respective notes and the usage guidelines.
f) Google reCaptcha
For protection against improper use, we use the identification service Google reCaptcha on our website. The query with reCaptcha serves to differentiate whether the entries in the web page form are made by a human being or abusively by automated machine processing. The query includes the sending of your IP address to Google and other data required by Google for the service reCaptcha. This data is transmitted to Google’s servers, where it is stored and processed. Under certain circumstances, Google may pass on the collected data to third parties. We would like to point out that we, as the provider, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Google. Google’s data protection regulations apply to this data. In the respective reCaptcha window, you will find a corresponding link to the current data protection regulations of Google Inc. under “Data protection declaration”. You can also access these here.
You can avoid the corresponding data collection by not using the reCaptcha function. We would like to point out that no requests can be sent in this case.
Within the scope of our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer, we use services of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).
EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with Facebook so that we have taken all possible measures to ensure that European data protection law is respected.
Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from Facebook. The plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo (white “f” on a blue tile, the word “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign) or the addition “Facebook Social Plug-In”.
We use the so-called 2-click solution. When you visit our site, no personal data is passed on to Facebook. Only if you activate the plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers.
The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser by Facebook and integrated into the website by it. In this way, personal information such as your IP address, URL, date and time and other browser-related information is transmitted to Facebook and stored in the USA. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is collected in Germany.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook, saved there and, depending on your Facebook settings, communicated to your Facebook contacts. If you do not wish to do this, please log out of your Facebook account (before clicking the opt-in button).
We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the website, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. You can prevent the installation of these cookies by changing the settings of your internet browser to reject all third-party cookies; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection information, and specifically for Facebook’s social plug-ins here.
You can also change your privacy settings on Facebook in your account settings.
You can object to Hotjar storing a user profile and information about your visit to our website and to Hotjar tracking cookies on other websites by clicking this opt-out link.
On this website we use HubSpot for our online marketing activities. HubSpot is a software company from the USA with a branch in Ireland. Contact: HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland, Phone: +353 1 5187500. EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with HubSpot so that we have taken all possible measures to ensure that European data protection law is respected.
This is an integrated software solution with which we cover various aspects of our online marketing. These include:
E-mail marketing (newsletters and automated mailings, e.g. to provide downloads), social media publishing & reporting, reporting (e.g. traffic sources, access, etc. …), contact management (e.g. user segmentation & CRM), landing pages and contact forms.
If you do not wish to be recorded by HubSpot in general, you can adjust the consent given by the cookie banner for the storage of cookies at any time or prevent their use through your browser settings accordingly.
C. Data collection and use in social media
You can find us on various social media platforms such as Facebook (see the following list). With these profiles we would like to communicate with our customers, interested parties and active users and inform them about our services and our company.
The processing of the personal data of the users active on these platforms is based on our legitimate interests in communication and information provision to and with the users. Insofar as users have given their consent to data processing within the framework of the respective social platform, the processing is carried out on this basis of consent.
If you visit one of our social media sites, we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can basically assert your rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transferability and complaint (see point “Your rights as affected person”) both against us and against the operator of the respective social platform.
We would like to point out that, despite the joint responsibility, we do not have full influence on the social platform’s data processing procedures and, if necessary, for a better processing of the affected person’s rights, we forward the rights request to the respective operator. Our possibilities are essentially based on the company policy of the respective provider.
Depending on the following designated social platform, the processing of users’ data may also take place outside the territory of the European Union. EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with the US companies so that we have taken all possible measures to ensure that European data protection law is respected.
User data is generally processed by the platforms for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created from the user behaviour and the resulting interests of the users. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For this purpose, cookies are usually stored on the users’ computers, in which the usage behaviour and interests of the users are saved. Data can also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users. This occurs in particular if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to these.
For a detailed presentation of the respective processing and objection options, we refer to the providers’ information linked in the following.

D. Data collection and use at trade fairs and events
At some trade fairs and events, orders (information material or samples) requested by customers or requests to establish contact are recorded on site, e.g. by accepting business cards.
The collection of data serves the delivery of the requested information material or the requested samples or for the establishment of the requested contact and contract initiation.
For the collection of data we use the app “Pitchview” of Pitchview GmbH, Kaiser-Joseph-Straße 230, 79098 Freiburg, Germany.
Pitchview enables us, with your consent, to scan business cards of customers/interested parties or to manually collect customer data (e.g. contact details or interest in products) and store it in Pitchview.
During or after the trade fair/event, the collected data and contacts from Pitchview will be forwarded for further internal processing in our company for the purpose of the fulfilment of your contact request.
